"To know fear is to know him."
Though his real name remains a mystery, the being called Scourge is truly worthy of the name. Acting as the Elionites' chief assassin and enforcer, this former member of the Elite Guard answers only to Malice, the mysterious leader of the Elionites.
Scourge is a master of a hand to hand combat and has been genetically enhanced to be stronger, faster, and more agile than the average Eltorian. He is also very familiar with hand-held weapons - such as blasters or knives - and can manipulate them with deadly accuracy. However, he rarely uses such weapons, preferring instead to use his own 'armament'.
Scourge has been equipped with bionic replacements for both arms. Whether Scourge volunteered to have his real arms replaced, or lost them in the line of duty, is unknown. What is known is that they are similar in construction to the one Rodar was fitted with after his altercation with Taqueza during the Eltorian War. Although, Scourge's arms are of a newer design which incorporates the shoulder pads he is usually seen wearing. These are, in fact, part of his arms and function in a defensive capacity. He is able to increase their size to form blast-resistant shields. He can also merge them with his arms to increase their size, and consequently, his own strength. However, the bionic replacements have a limited amount of mass and the size of his shoulder pads and arms reflect that (i.e. - as his arms grow larger, the shoulder pads by necessity must grow smaller and vice versa). Scourge's arms can form virtually any weapon that he has intimate knowledge of. Though his preference falls toward stabbing weapons, this also includes energy based weapons. Maintaining any weapon configuration requires a limited amount of Scourge's concentration. Should that concentration for whatever reason waver (loss of consciousness, etc.), his arms will revert automatically to the 'default' or 'stand-by' mode which is that of a normal appendage. Being both organic and synthetic, the arms require periodic external charging for the synthetic portions while the organic components derive nourishment from Scourge's own caloric intake.
The fact that Scourge rarely speaks tends to make him seem passive and calm. But the few that who have managed to survive an encounter with him know the truth: his placid exterior is merely a facade which hides the soul of a merciless killing machine that is all but unstoppable. Now that his considerable talents in the art of assassination have been directed towards the Exofleet, it is no longer a question of who will die, but how many.
