HISTORY     Bront Lerga is an Ungularian, a race of aliens that hail from a distant part of the galaxy. Ungularians are large bipedal organisms that are roughly humanoid in shape. Their upper extremities possess three digits with an opposable thumb. Their lower extremities possess one large toe that serves as a support and platform to provide a pivoting action (analogous to the human ankle).     Physically speaking Ungularians are quite large, with the average Ungularian standing about six and a half feet tall. Their girth is equally impressive with a muscle mass and density that is about the same as an Eltorian. However since Ungularians tend to be physically larger than Eltorians, they consequently possess greater physical strength. But in comparison to Eltorian (and even Terran) physiology, Ungularians are slow and lumbering. So while possessing greater physical power, their speed and stamina are much lower. An Ungularian's skin tone is described as either some shade of pale green or gray. The skin itself is quite thick by most standards and therefore naturally resistant to most penetrating injuries. Ungularians possess no hair on any part of their body.     Based on their physical appearance and abilities, one might think that Ungularians are renowned warriors. The fact of the matter is that Ungularians are actually known more for their brain than their brawn. To start with, all Ungularians have perfect or near-perfect memories. Ungularian hands, though noteworthy for their size and power, are known for their surprising dexterity. Thus their technological prowess is generally considered second to none. In fact, Eltorian shield systems and warp generators are based on designs that were originally conceived by the Ungularians.     Bront Lerga is a relatively young Ungularian being only 100 Earth years in age. Like all Ungularians he is physically powerful, but Bront's physical appearance is in sharp contrast to his gentle spirit. His chosen profession is sociologist with a focus in military hierarchy and culture. Bront has authored three books on the subject with his most recent representing a ten-year study of the Eltorian military. With its completion, Bront is now ready to begin what he considers to be his greatest work, a study of Exofleet.
