HISTORY:
Jaster Lazine is a full-blood. Which is to say that he is entirely descended from the original pirate clans. Jaster would be the first to tell someone this. The second thing he would do is likely challenge that someone to a fight. Jaster believes in honor, craves glory, respects power, and has little patience for hesitation or incompetence. In short, he is a walking stereotype of the full-blood pirate. While Jaster is very proud of this fact, he has failed to grasp that it is this very behavior that might get him removed from the fleet. On the positive side, Jaster is an excellent warrior both in and out of the cockpit. He keeps himself in top physical condition at all times and constantly strives to improve his performance. He is particularly proud of his stealth abilities. He has been trained to move with little-to-no sound. Combined with his stealth armor, Jaster is capable of becoming undetectable at will. In the past he has been known to practice this skill on his squadmates, much to their displeasure.
Following his graduation from the Martian Exofleet Academy, Jaster has been in three different squads. He has never requested a transfer. Each of his commanding officers, on the other hand, has requested his transfer to another squad. His past squad leaders have all noted that Jaster is a disrupting influence on the rest of the squad by constantly picking fights and questioning orders that he deemed less forceful than the situation required. Almost paradoxically each of his old squad leaders noted that while he was the most troublesome member of their squad, he also happened to be the most talented. In the end, it was his skill as a pilot that got him assigned to Able Squad. Whether or not he stays there, or in the fleet at all, remains to be seen.
