Dr. Albrecht Ketzer       Dr. Albrecht Ketzer is a gifted Geneticist whose theories were in advance of all his contemporaries. However, while they would not cross certain ethical lines, Ketzer found little to hold him back. He journeyed to the Amazon where he would work for years to study the effects of integrating plant and animal DNA. He apparently befriended a local tribe during the time he spent there. He would eventually come to experiment on them, turning them into monstrous hybrids of the plant and animal kingdoms. Fueled by his success with the natives, Ketzer began to experiment on himself - demonstrating his complete lack of value for human life, even his own.       With the introduction of Neo Warriors and Lords into the Neosapian War, Exofleet required the abilities of a geneticist to help find an inherent weakness in their design. After searching the Exofleet database, Ketzer was selected as the most promising candidate. The file indicated that he had been last reported in the Amazon Jungle. Thus, J.T. Marsh, Nara Burns, and Marsala were dispatched to the Amazon to retrieve him. When they eventually caught up with Ketzer, he refused to leave. Instead, he wanted the three exotroopers to help him destroy a nearby Neosapian base. When they refused, he revealed that he had injected Nara Burns with a retrovirus. One that Ketzer claimed was the same as the one he used - or was continuously using - on himself. As it integrated itself into her cells she would begin to change, presumably like Ketzer himself had. Faced with no other choice, J.T., Marsala, and Nara agreed to help in exchange for a cure that Ketzer offered. A decision they would come to regret, as Ketzer would escape into the Amazon after revealing that there was no cure. This left Nara Burns wondering what would become of her, and her closest friends unable to help her.       Ketzer would remain active in the Amazon up until the end of the war. At which time, he again met up with Nara Burns. He attempted to kidnap her with the help of his followers, calling her "an unfinished experiment". Due to the intervention of Marsala, Nara was rescued. But Ketzer again escaped into the jungle, where he still remains active, waiting for the his next opportunity to strike out against those foolish enough to trespass there.
