Version II of the Eltorian Battle Armor is essentially the same as Version I. The only reason it is classified separately is due to the obvious physical differences in the design. Though some operators claim the Version II is more nimble in combat, there is as yet no data to substantiate the claim.

The Standard Guardsman Armor consists of red Organo-metalic plates with a black Undersuit. Versions I and II of this type are those that are most commonly encountered in the Eltorian Military.

 When not in use, the Armor loses consistency and aggregates into a hexagonal backpack. The Jetpack, Forearm Cannons, and Thrust Boots are shunted extra-dimensionally.
 The Hand Guards of the armor can shift form into blades for close-quarters fighting.

Officers are more rare in the Eltorian Military, with 2 present for about every 25 Guardsman. Wearing black Organo-metallic plates and a red Undersuit, they clearly stand out from those that they command. At times, this proves to be a disadvantage. A number of adversaries have taken up the strategy of going after the black units first, assuming that with the command element removed, victory will be all that more easy to achieve. However, Officers are required to possess superior piloting and fighting skills as well as leadership ability. Without both, a Guardsman will never rise in rank. As such, Officers are always far more skilled opponents. They have to be, as it is the only thing that will keep them alive.

 The inorganic components of the Battle Armor require periodic external charging and maintenance. The organic systems are administered a nutrient-rich liquid compound to sustain them.
 Some officers have had the design of their armor altered so that they are able to shoot their hand blades over a short distance.

Elite Guardsman act in a capacity similar to the terran Military Police. Though they are sent on missions of paramount importance, their primary function is to maintain military discipline among the troops of a given Baseship.

 The Elite Guardsman Armor is the most rare of the three known types. The Elite represent the most highly skilled soldiers the Eltorian military has to offer. They are also the most feared as they are not unaccustomed to executing a disobient soldier on the spot. The Elite rarely have need of their Battle Armor because all of its members are genetically enhanced to be stronger, faster, and more agile than any Guardsman or Officer.
 Many members of The Elite have a micro-secretion system built into their hand blades. When active, the blades become laced with various poisons, anticoagulants, or both.
